Synopsis: (Documentary) RUDY + NEAL GO FISHING puts a face to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD.) The film is about a hairdresser and a soldier going fishing. The soldier is a veteran struggling with PTSD now that he is back on the home-front and his recreational therapist at the VA prescribed fishing as a form of therapy. The film is a snapshot of a moment in time where 2 men- from completely different walks of life- meet up for a fishing trip to help the soldier heal. Over the course of the day, the two guys bond and form a lasting friendship. Cast: Captain Neal Stark, Rudy Watt
Crew: Producers: Abigail Tannebaum Sharon, Director of Photography and Co-Director: Pablo Durana, Editor: Cindy D'Agostino, Composer: Chris Beaty, Production Assistant: Milvionne Chery
Production Background & Fun Facts: I've been telling stories my whole life and am fortunate to make a living doing just that. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is hard to relate to, but my short, independent documentary film RUDY + NEAL GO FISHING puts a face to it.
