Synopsis: (Documentary) Stories on the Skin: Tattoo Culture at FAU is an ongoing creative collaboration between The Jaffe Center for Book Arts and Dr. Karen J. Leader, of the Department of Visual Arts and Art History, Florida Atlantic University. Our focus is on a visual medium, the tattoo, and the textual component, the narrative, which, through interpretation and performance, offer a deeper understanding of the artful presentation of the self to the world, on the pages of the body.
