Production Background & Fun Facts: The screenplay for Stray won many awards over the years including a Panasonic filmmaking grant from the Independent Filmmaker Project (IFP), the oldest independent film organization in the country. Still, it took eight years to raise financing which included bake sales and a successful Kickstarter campaign. Just goes to show, I guess, where there's a will, there's a way.
