Synopsis: (Narrative, short, social justice): 83 Days is based on Historical events. In 1944 in the segregated southern town of Acolu, SC, a 14 year old negro boy George Stinney Jr. fights for his life after being wrongly accused of the murder of 2 young white girls. What happens when the moral compass of the law is tainted by political pressure and racism and when those in power struggle to challenge it? How long will it take for the truth to be told?

Production Background & Fun Facts: Our writer Ray Lenard Brown was pivotal player in getting George Stinney Jr. exhonorated. Judge Witherspoon in 83 Days is the actual Sheriff of Putnam county GA. Brett Rice who plays Sheriff Hawkins in 83 days, the first film that Andrew Paul Howell has directed. Was also a lead character in the first film Andrew ever Gaffed. The entire cast and crew worked on different to make 83 Days possible!
