Synopsis: In this darkly comedic tale, a deaf housewife exterminates her abusive spouse and is offered a chance at the Highlife by a lonely Hitman. Daphne's long time buddy tries to talk her out of becoming a hired assassin, but Tony is eventually dragged in as her getaway driver. The two argue their way down the rabbit hole of crime and their friendship is tested by a real world madman. Cast: Cami Varela, Nicholaus Ontiveros, Frank Cappello, Johnny Cicco, Arina Manta
Crew: Writer: Frank Cappello Producers: Frank Cappello, Cami Varela
Production Background & Fun Facts: Steele Wool was shot like most documentary's are shot: No crew and with a tiny budget. ( $5,000) I wrote and shot a quick scene to test Cami and after a positive response, friends asked "What happens next?" After a year of asking that question over and over, I was staring at a feature that wasn't suppose to exist. In the end, Steele Wool was shot at 37 locations, with 20 actors, 12 cats, 2 dogs, a giant sea turtle and a bullfrog. The movie was the script and I just went with the flow and let it write itself. I'm extremely grateful for all those who trusted me enough to join in on this crazy experiment.
